Undergraduate Volunteers

Undergraduates play an integral support role on FARVets trips, assisting with anesthesia, restraint, surgery prep, recovery and clinic organization.  FARVets clinics present an opportunity to gain valuable clinical and leadership skills while immersed in a foreign culture.  One to three undergraduate students are asked to participate in each trip.

Undergraduate student volunteers pay an $800 support fee to FARVets which covers medical supplies, meals, housing and transportation for the duration of the trip.  Student volunteers are responsible for booking and paying for their own airfare to and from the clinic site.

If you are interested in participating in a FARVets clinic as a student volunteer, please complete the form below for more information.  If you have general questions please use our Contact Us Page.
