FARVets Goals and Missions:

• Collaborate and partner with grassroots animal welfare organizations abroad and domestic to address companion animal overpopulation through sterilization clinics

• Provide people in impoverished communities with veterinary care for their pets while embracing the human-animal bond

• Increase awareness of canine and feline health issues among local citizens and pet owners

• Nurture the development of competance and confidence in clinical procedures and surgicals skills in student participants

• Provide an international service learning experience to veterinary students concerning aspects of veterinary medicine and differences in language, culture, and socioeconomic status
