Asociación Pro Bienestar Animal, Tarcoles

FARVets worked with Asociación Pro Bienestar Animal in 2013 to run a free spay neuter clinic for villages around Tarcoles.  Asociación Pro Bienestar Animal is a part of The McKee Project in Costa Rica. The organization was founded in 2003 to address the issue of overpopulation and help with animal health care and adoption. The organization is able to spay/neuter more than 1000 animals per year, both stray and from low income families, as well as treat and find homes for over 500 dogs and cats each year.
